Put your compassion and skills to use with a degree in nursing
Southeastern College's hands-on Associate of Science in Nursing degree program is designed to prepare students for entry-level positions as professional nurses. This degree program is open to enrollment by students with no prior nursing or allied health education or experience. However, it offers transitional enrollment options for those with a valid, active, and unrestricted Florida LPN license or a valid, active, and unrestricted Florida Paramedic Certification. You'll learn how to perform holistic assessments, safely administer medications, take medical histories, coordinate care for patients and families, and collaborate with members of the health care team.
Students who successfully complete the Nursing Program are awarded an A.S. degree in Nursing. Graduates are eligible to have their names submitted to the Florida Board of Nursing to sit for the NCLEX-RN licensure examination.
Graduates of the Associate of Science in Nursing program can be prepared for careers in a variety of medical settings, including:
- Physicians' offices
- Specialty clinics
- Residential care facilities
Work toward a career that allows you to help others with hands-on career training in nursing from Southeastern College.
